Review content:
El Vaquero is a very spendy upscale type resteraunt/ lounge. I am not rich but had to try it out. You can have tapas (little bits)...like appetizers...we tried the crab stuffed banana peppers - delish! (you get 3 of them and they are $12 and a few other tidbits like the crab mashers - YUMMM! I saw a review for them and they had slightly different items on the menu so that makes it even more fun because they change it up from time to time. GREAT place to go for appetizers (tapas) and drinks! You can fill up on the small plates quickly! The one side of the menu has Tapas, the other has more larger plates of wonderful food as well! Atmosphere: low lighting with candles on the tables, brown and tourquoise & gold for the colors, along with dark woods, cowhide and the bathrooms are red and have wonderful decor as well! El Vaquero. 296 E. 5th Ave. (5th Street Public Market). Lunch, 11:30 am-4:30 pm. Dinner, 5:30 pm-10 pm Su-Th; 5:30 pm-11 pm F & Sa. Tapas, 11 am-1 am.29
