This was by far the worst salon experience of my life. I was running a few minutes late (the salon is located in a remote area of Arvada) and when I arrived I knew things were not off to a great start when I walked in and was literally invisible.
I went over to the customer service counter and waited over 8 minutes for two other customers who were scheduling other appointments, paying, etc. No one ever acknowledged me during my wait.
When I finally approached the front desk I was told that my stylist would be ready shortly; as I made my way to sit down in the salon to wait, I was literally accosted by the second customer service agent who screamed my name (very personalized) and told me that I no longer had time for color and a cut and would be forced to choose one service as I was late. I was shocked. Astounded. Perplexed. Stunned.
I'd never been threatened prior to a hair appointment before. I agreed to meet with the stylist, her name was Teall, and she told me that she had another client in 25 minutes and could no longer do the hair cut OR color. No services for me. What?!?
I had to schedule my whole work week and day around this appointment due to a very busy schedule. I tried to explain to her that I waited in line almost 10 minutes. This acne-ridden, pompous, prima donna was unaccommodating, rude and snide. She literally rushed me out the door and I was still stammering as I was ushered out.
I've been to countless salons in the Denver area and greatly enjoyed my experience @ the Aveda downtown so I thought this would be my "North Denver Aveda" substitute. Sadly, I couldn't have been more wrong.
