My daughter is looking for a prom dress. Of course it has to be "the" dress. She wants something spectacular but isn't really sure exactly what that will look like. As a result we have been to many, many dress stores. Today we went to David's Bridal to check out their selection. When we entered we were greeted by two girls who told us that we could look but that there was a long wait for a fitting room - this did not impress us.
We spent awhile in the store looking through the selections. What we found was nothing different or special. The dresses in stock were very similar to all the dresses we had seen at many other stores. None were anything special at all.
I had never been in David's Bridal before but after this experience I will be in no rush to return. I have spoken with people who have purchased dresses from David's during their big sales and were happy but not us.
