If your looking for plain good old home cooking it is here. I have some likes and dislikes about Waffle House. The one thing I don't like is the booth size. I was a plus size person a couple years ago and barely fit into the booth. Not only was it embarrasing, but it was very uncomfortable and I didn't even stay to enjoy the food. My second visit was fairly good. The food was good and fresh. The third visit was after hurricane Rita and the only waffle house open between Beaumont and Lake Charles was in Sulpher. They had a limited menu, but it was the best food I had eaten in days.
