I go to City People's on Madison Avenue about 3-4 times per year when I have small gardening needs that don't require a trip to a big nursery like Wells Medina. Generally City People's has what I'm looking for offering a good (not great) selection. I like the indoor part of the store of gift items. It's an unexpected but great place to pick up a card or housewarming gift. The staff at City People's is just ok. I tend to need some guidance when I'm looking for something new to spruce up our flower pots and it's hard to get anyone's attention and when you do I find that they aren't really interested in making recommendations. They are there more to answer specific questions or point you in the direction of the item in question. City People's is great for convenience but for selection and often better price, I recommend some of the nearby nurseries.
