Review content:
I had a terrible experience with my order. The sale and ordering was handled very professionally. But the follow up to the order was terrible.
First problem:
-The store here called me on Saturday that my wood floor was in which was within the promised delivery date.
I came on Monday morning which was a 60 mile trip from Larkspur Colorado to North Denver, and paid for the wood and nails for my nail gun. After 45 Minutes the management realized that my order was delivered to the wrong person several hundred miles away in Grand Junction. I had driven 120 miles round trip in a borrowed truck to pick it up. I was told I would get a second call when the wood came in a couple days.
Second problem:
-I did not get a call when the shipment did arrive- I had to call a couple times to find when it was in which took over a week. I came in the next day and then I had to fill out more paperwork because they had goofed and we had to sign all the invoices for their records. I had to wait on site for another 30 minutes because of the other customers and then I loaded my own truck because the guys were busy. Again it was another 120 mile trip.
Third problem:
I was sold the wrong type of nails. The salesman sold me staples instead on the cleats- I realize now that you dont carry cleats but I specifically told the sales guy the brand and model of the unit. He did not look up the nailer but said that Bostich staples were most common for a Bostich and that if there was any problem that I could exchange them and they carry all types. I made a fourth trip today to the store and when I went to exchange for the cleats, I was charged a 20% restocking fee and I do not have the nails to work this weekend.
I ended up driving 480 miles and I am very dissatisfied with the service. I did not save any money on the wood. I spent it all on gas.
Pros: Cheaper prices, knowledgeable and easy to order from
Cons: 20 % restocking fee even if its their mistake / lots of paperwork and mistakes
