Review content:
Brought in the machine I bought from them to have motherboard and RAM replaced. The tech really wanted me to buy a new hard drive, telling me they go out all the time. Said no. They put one in anyway and didn't put it on the invoice. Six months later, the unwanted hard drive fails and I bring the machine back. All I wanted was for them to chuck the unwanted hard drive and hook the old hard drive up- like I wanted originally. The owner, Stu, proceeded to sit me down and talk to me like a child. He told me of their meticulous record keeping and that the hard drive in my machine had never come through their shop. The punch line of his dog and pony show was that I was a thief.\r \r So I let the patronizing runt have it with both barrels.\r \r Needless to say, my hardware needs were not fulfilled during the visit.\r \r Here's what boggles my mind, though. Even if I had gone out and purchased a hard drive and installed it on my machine, if you were the guy who sold me the computer, wouldn't you have one of your men take 5 minutes and swap a hard drive for me? Just to keep me happy?\r \r That is not what happened, however. I know for a fact my hands have never graced the inside of that machine. That was the whole reason to buy it from Sandia. They open it up and rummage around in it SO I DON'T HAVE TO ANYMORE. Their man put a time-bomb hard drive in my machine that went off 6 months later so that I could be in there buying a new one for Christmas. Pleasure doing business with ya, Stu.
