I normally take my car to my mechanic friend... but one weekend he was away on vacation.\r \r I was driving leisurely around town when smoke starts to shoot out of my hood. I quickly head home frantically look for an auto repair shop that is open on weekends. I came across A1 Auto (probably because it was first on the directory) and went over there. The person working the counter was actually the owner of the shop. He was a very nice guy and he took down all the symptoms of my car. I left my keys with him and walked to a restaurant to kill time. \r \r An hour later, I received a phone call from the owner saying that my alternator is dying because oil is shooting out of my engine on to it which is creating the smoke effect. They said that I would need a new alternator, a new gasket seal, and new alternator belts which comes out to around $450. I had just replaced my alternator a year prior and I couldn't believe that I would need another one so soon. I paid the $52 dollars to get m
