Review content:
I just started bringing my animals to Carmel Animal Hospital recently and my experience has been very good so far. The office is clean, the staff is friendly and patient, and it’s easy to get an appointment even if you work full-time, because Dr. Covitz is very willing to accommodate the schedules of his clients and make himself available. \r
\r
My dog, who is usually terrified of the vet to the point of having to be dragged in shaking and whimpering, entered willingly and even gave Dr. Covitz a little bit of a tail wag (he bribed her with about a dozen cookies!). Sadly, I had to put my cat to sleep today – when the hospital was supposed to be closed – and Dr. Covitz never acted like I was putting him out. He handled it very well, and made a painful experience much easier. It was actually a relief to do it while there wasn't any other patients in the office. \r
\r
It’s not my first priority when choosing a vet, but I also think the prices at Carmel Animal Hospital are more fair than other places I've been, particularly those in nearby Westchester. I drive about 20 minutes to get there, and it’s worth it.
