For several years now, my wife and I have dined at Pierre's restaurant. For the most part, it was usually a very nice experience and wonderful food. On the night of October 12th, however, it was an awful experience to say the least! Firstly, our outside table was located at one end of the balcony where there was little lighting, 2 of the ceiling lights were not working so it became quite dark. Mind you, the restaurant had just re-opened from being closed for several weeks for ""maintenance & repairs"". We told the waiter and he said there was nothing that could be done. We had to ask him to bring us a lit candle. Secondly, our food was taking for ever, the waiter kept saying, ""five more minutes for the food"". After I told him I wasn't waiting any longer and asked for the check, the food appeared all of a sudden after an hour and a half of waiting. Thirdly, when I asked to speak to the restaurant manager to complain, he didn't even have the courtesy to come to our table. Needless to say, we are never going back. The food was great, but with the prices they charge, they ought to be able to provide much better service.
