Review content:
I have turned myself inside and out trying to do business - advance planning - for a relative who wished to have this funeral home handle her funeral arrangements. No calls back, failed to deposit check (yes, I tried to give them money), no contract sent as indicated would be done, was given excuse after excuse, i.e. ""I am on vacation but came in, I never take a vacation"" only problem with this excuse was that it was the same one used on another occasion, ""I'm going to school too"". I was told when I called this last time and finally got someone to answer the phone (a man), that my call would be returned by a Funeral Director - call was returned by secretary who never takes a vacation. The crowning glory was when I was asked if this was a Title 19 case - I had been dealing with this woman for quite some time; she acknowledged that she had received the bank check six weeks earlier and NOW it was going to take another 4 to 6 weeks to process through some other entity....and how some people essentially try to ""bury money"" (pun intended) in funeral something-or-other. I finally stopped payment on the check when the contract failed to arrive within a few days as promised. DO NOT try any pre-planning with this funeral home - it obviously fails to take the living seriously....and now I'm a little concerned about the deceased.
