Review content:
When starting the planning process of our wedding, my fiance & I went to many places in Old New Castle but I had always loved Jessop's Tavern since the first time we went several years ago. I had decided to have the reception there, but I figured why not just have the ceremony there as well since it was a small affair. I mentioned my idea to Sharyn, the event coordinator, and she said they had never had a ceremony there before but she was all for it! \r

From the very beginning, she was very excited & extremely helpful. Honestly, I couldn't imagine any wedding being less stressful. She took care of everything! She decorated everything in a way as not to distract from the history of the tavern, but still look classy, just like I asked. Perfection!!\r

When the big day came, she & the staff were there early taking care of last minute decorating & I must say, everything was lovely! The staff was MORE than helpful & so very sweet. The food was phenomenal, as always, and everyone in attendance had nothing but rave reviews for the food, service & atmosphere! \r

If anyone is planning a small wedding, then please, by ALL means, don't dismiss this gem of a venue!!! If you do, you do yourself a disservice. Believe me, you will NOT be sorry for choosing Jessop's Tavern!!!
