Review content:
I am not a student of Medtech, but my daughter graduated from the LPN program. I work for Clarian, and she had a interview for a position with a large clinic at IU hospital. But when the recruiter noted that she had attended Medtech, she called and stated that they do not hire Medtech graduates due to the fact that they are not a National League of Nursing accredited school. I spoke with several people in Human Resources regarding this matter. It was very upsetting after spending the amount of money we did and she lost out on an awesome job because of it. Even though they are state and nationally accredited, they will not hire nurses with out the NLN accreditation. Medtech tried to say it was because they were such a new school and it takes years to get that accreditation, but from what I have researched online, the school has to apply for accreditation, and of course there is a fee that the school would have to pay. Maybe that is why they haven't applied for it so far. Just be aware o
