I attended medtech for the phlebotomy program, and immediatly found employment doing such, however...before you commit to a training field, do your research on the pay ,benefits etc.. if you can't do that, then you probably shouldn't be in college. Now on to Medtech...the school is accredited to accept financial aid from the state and federal government, BUT IS NOT a college where you earn credits,thus if you plan to go elsewhere you are screwed as there is no credits to transfer. Also, they do not check to see if you graduated high school or have a GED. The short term classes are for skills such as mine that require no state certification. The nursing program will allow you to sit for the state exam..BUT YOU WILL NOT have a degree,as they DO NOT ISSUE CREDITS!! You get a cheap certificate that says you pass THIER standards, NOT those designated by the STATE nursing board. This is a good place to go for the short term (4 week classes) to train in phlebotomy etc.. but nothing else. They
