Hello, I am a previous nursing instructor from Medtech College. Everything that is being said has no real clout. Medtech has worked very, very hard to pursue NLN. Please REMEMBER: this is a voluntary accreditation. It has no bearing on whether a student has recieved a solid education. The hospitals in Indianapolis are very political. They have used NLN as and excuse to help the colleges they have long standing relationships with and keep short-term schools like Medtech from conquering the nursing market. Medtech College will recieve NLN. I have no doubt of this. What students need to keep in mind is there are other cities and towns surrounding Indianapolis that could care less where you went to school, as long as you have your state boards completed. Wow, we spend so much time being so narrow minded instead of focusing on what's really important. Medtech gives students an OPPORTUNITY to recieve an education that other schools won't let you have.
