Businiess name:  Douglaston Golf Course

Review content:
Imagine my disbelief when I was told that it was my problem that it rained. Our foursome went to this golf course and was not told before hand that rain checks were not issued. Granted it was drizzling, I should have had the sense to ask but the ""guy"" behind the desk mentioned to us that the rain was going to let up. We only got to play four full holes when it started pouring. At that point, the greens were decorated with puddles. We went back to the clubhouse to see if we could get a raincheck but were flatly told ""NO"", and that we should have seen the sign that was hung up on the wall of the pro shop. That sign was blocked by a computer monitor and is placed counter high. There is not a chance in the world that anyone can see that sign unless that person was specifically looking for one. The staff can give half a hoot about there customers. Not to mention the conicending tone they use to speak to patrons. I felt like a second rate citizen there. Truely unbelievable!
