Wish there was a star rating of less than one star for this company. "Cavet Emptor" is a latin term which means "let the buyer beware". So I am guessing that some latin must have done business with Ernie's in the past and that is where the term came from. Wife picked them cause they were rated good on "Angie's List". Big Mistake. Was told that our pipes were too small for the water being discharged by a washer we have had, with no prior problems, for over 9 months. Like a fool we bought their story when they quoted us $700 for replacement pipes which we were assured would fix the problem. It didn't. Over a thousand dollars later we were told that we had a stoppage due to rotting pipes under the house and given a quote for $25,000 to trench 3/4's of our house to replace 3/4's of our plumbing. We called our insurance company and have real plumbing professionals look at it since they left and I can tell you I am glad we let others look at it. Will never use Ernie's Plumbing again.
