Review content:
Stone Mountain Estates is a dangerous and poorly managed facility in spite of it's good looks. I had my mother in there for two months and required practically daily management on my part to ensure her medicines were stocked and given on time, her diabetic meals were correct, and that their pull cords (emergency response for the residents) were functional...most of the times all three failed miserably. On several occasions, it took them over two hours to respond to the pull cord - the state standard is 2 minutes. As of May 2012, the Ombudsman assures me that these problems have been corrected but if you are considering placing a loved one here, I would tread very, very carefully.
