We have 2 large breed dogs (age 6, age 1) and have had both of them on the Banfield Wellness plan from the time we got them as puppies. I have been fairly pleased with the service and cost (approx. $20/month) for most of the routine checks (vaccines, annual check-ups), but for anything outside of the normal procedures I am definitely going to find a new Vet! We recently paid a ridiculous $225 (after no office fee and 10% off for being a wellness customer) for stitching a small cut (1") on our dog's leg. They used lidocaine to numb the leg for pain, stitched it, bandaged it, sent us home with an E-Collar for $25, and another $50 for antibiotics. A few days later our dog still was able to get the bandage off and the stitches out during the night and we took her back in to check it out. This time, somehow they quoted us another $96?? I'm slightly surprised it was actually that low, but in reality was more surprised that it made no sense why they charged me $225 the first time and only wan
