Review content:
I would not recommend this group to anyone. During my pregnancy, I was treated fairly well. The minute my water broke, that all stopped. Dr. Moore was the doctor I saw the most, and she had worked out a plan due to my extreme fears of childbirth. She was on call when my water broke, but managed to ignore me until her shift ended. It became apparent that I was nothing more than a uterus to these doctors. My postpartum concerns were also ignored. At 3 ½ weeks I called with severe pains from pulling out a stitch. I got a return call from the nurse 18 hours later with the message “if it hurts really bad, go to the emergency room.” I spent several days unsure if I should go, because it hurt, but didn't seem to warrant the emergency room in my opinion. I finally had the good sense to call my family doctor, Family Practice Center, a couple of days later. I didn’t get past telling them I was having some pain related to my stitches when they had me in the office 2 hours later. Apparently I shouldn’t have still had stitches at that point, and they had to be removed. My wound also wasn’t healing resulting in several injections to speed the healing process. All things Select OB was willing to ignore. I didn’t even go back to them for my 6 week check up as it was obvious they had no interest in treating any continuing problems.
