APPALLING TREATMENT. I'm honestly shocked this place is still open. After our dog got HIT BY A CAR we took him to Webster. He had terrible wounds and was bleeding all over the place. We were all very much in shock. When we walked in there was absolutely no sense of urgency. They put us in a room with our dog and made us wait for OVER AN HOUR. We had no idea of his condition, no one looked at him or checked him out. When we asked a nurse how he was doing she said ""I don't know, I'm not a vet."" After checking in with the nurses three times a vet finally came in and looked at him. He said ""he looks stable to me, but before I can do anything to treat him I need to get an estimate for your costs together."" He was still bleeding all over the office, no one had even bothered to put gauze or a bandage on his wounds or give him anything for the pain. At that point we just walked out, and took our dog to Midwest Veterinary Referral Clinic. Luckily he was ok and had no internal damage (he luckily survived the one hour wait) but I cannot believe this is the standard of care at this place. I hope no one ever has to go through what we did. Please don't ever take your pets here. Midwest Vet Referral in Chesterfield is an amazing place. OH and the best part - when we were walking out the nurse yelled after us - ""WE WILL SEND YOU A BILL."" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!
