Review content:
Had gone here once or twice quite a # of years ago for emergency care & service was brief, but seemed ok, so recently I took my newly adopted rescue here since they are much closer than my previous regular vet, & I liked the fact they are more of a 24 hour emergency clinic. Had never read any of these reviews online & just assumed they were one of the best hospitals in the area. This was my first overall check-up with my new dog & they didn't really thoroughly check him over like I'm used to. No ears, eyes & temp check. No checking paws & skin & asking lots of questions. He has some fear & anxiety issues related to being a rescue & the vibe I got from the vet was I might wanna get a different dog without any problems. Kinda floored me & i didn't quite know how to respond. Most vets I've worked with have a certain level of compassion for all animals, even those with problems. I walked out of it with a $90 bill thinking, what the hell just happened? I've heard from others that some vets are good & others are not so good, so I might try a couple of those with consistently good reviews before i give up on this vet hospital. As far as the other staff, they seemed ok. Reception desk wasn't exactly warm & fuzzy, but not sure I need or care about that. The assistant actually asked more questions & struck me as more compassionate than the actual vet in this case. I'll update if/when I go back. Still on the fence about a second chance with this one.
