This review is for a Revival Facial with Vitamin C Peel from Mylynn Nguygen. (I mention her by name only because my friend also received the *same* treatment from Porche, however, when comparing notes, we actually had completely different experiences.) \r \r I cannot say enough about the facial that I received from Mylynn. She was thorough, exacting, but gentle with her extractions. She spent an inordinate amount of time detoxifying my skin of all its impurities. (My friend did not get any extractions whatsoever.)\r \r Mylynn also gave me a deep tissue massage to my neck, arms, and shoulders. (Porche only provided a light touch.)\r \r Mylynn slathered my hands in oils and warmed them in gloves (Porche did not offer this service to my friend.)\r \r Mylynn offered sage advice about what to expect (a darkening of the skin and then a sloughing period). She also recommended that I use a generous application of both sunscreen and moisturizer. She then offered a small sample of vitamin C lotion. (Porche did not mention any of these things nor offer the said lotion.)\r \r As far as our notes compare, the only similarity was the actual vitamin C peel. Normally I would feel that $140 (but $110 with an online discount) would be a bit on the high for a facial -- but with Mylynn, it was worth every penny! Both my friend and I are already planning to specifically request Mylynn for our next appointments. \r
