Review content:
Butcher Shop is one of those places that my mind doesnt automatically jump to when we're heading out for a steak. Usually its between Ruths Chris and Folks Folly (and Ruths Chris usually wins - they have better sides) But sometimes we're burnt out on RC and sometimes we just dont want to drive that far. Thats when the Butcher Shop usually pops into my head. The steaks are good...I have never prepared my own. Like some others have said - whats the point in that?!?! The spinach artichoke dip is, in my opinion, the best in the city. Even better than Houstons. Yup. The potatoes....the ones served with cheese in a gratin dish? Oh. My. Goodness. They are *so* good....skip the baked potato and try them! We go to the one on G-Town Pkwy and they have patio seating. Also another draw when the weather is nice and you want to sit outside!
