Review content:
I took my rescue puppy to Barker Cypress Animal Clinic to be fixed this week it was part of the adoption fee. She is 31/2 months old and weighs a little over 4 lbs..I had called them the day before to discussed what they were doing to her.The ONLY other thing she would be getting was her 3rd series of shots. When I dropped her off in the morning we discussed it again and I also signed a paper stating she would ONLY be getting fixed and her shots..I picked her up after her surgery and they informed me they had also WITHOUT asking me given her a shot for her mange. (which I had already done two weeks ago with another vet closer to my home) My dog is like my child since I do not have children and I know parents would NEVER let a doctor give their child a shot without asking or informing the parent I was upset to say the least..What if she had have a reaction to the shot since she had been treated so recent..Is this their way to slide in more money into their pockets?
You should set boundaries with your vet from now on...It should be ALWAYS discussed with the owner not ASSUMED by the doctor..
There are too many other vets in this town then this one..be aware...
