Review content:
After almost 40 years of wearing glasses, I was sick and tired of them. I was practically blind without them and wanted to see on my own. A couple of my relatives had Lasik, but I was still wary of it. I consulted with several different Lasik surgeons in my research. But none made me feel as comfortable or as confident as Dr. Mandel. As soon as I met him, I knew he was the right doctor for the job. He and his staff spent considerable time testing me to make sure I was a good candidate. They addressed all my questions and concerns. I was nervous the day of the surgery, but it went perfectly. The follow-up care was fantastic. And now more than two years later, I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I continue to visit Dr. Mandel and his staff for a yearly checkup and always look forward to seeing them. Dr. Mandel's warm, friendly, funny personality will make you feel at ease. Most importantly, I think he's one of the best surgeons around for this procedure and recommend him highly.
