My appointment was scheduled for 3:30 and I arrived there 15 minutes early, like I was asked to and I didn't get called to the back until 5:00pm. Honestly, I was ready to ask for a refund of my co-pay so I could go elsewhere. When I asked what the hold-up was, after waiting in the waiting area for an hour, I was told the doctor had 2 emergency surgies and was very backed-up. What I would like to know is why I wasn't told that at check-in. Then, the doctor acted clueless about my situation when I had given a disk with x-rays on it to the staff at check-in. I was so floored, like nobody had taken the time to even look at the x-rays or my chart for that matter! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
