I've been going to Karmakanix since 2005. They have done most of the work on my 8 year old car. The first repair I went to them for was an expensive fuel pump replacement, and Nino was great in telling me everything I needed to know. I asked if I could make it to Sacramento and back on my seeping pump and he polled the entire shop to get a consensus that it would be safe. I then became a loyal customer. The best thing about them is they are honest and actually try to save you money. Nino noticed that in another couple months I would need my timing belt changed, so he suggested that to save labor cost I could do that service while my engine was taken apart for the fuel pump replacement. It basically only added the cost of the materials to my bill, saving me about $300, and I really appreciated that. They know that I can't always afford brand new parts, so they look for recycled parts when appropriate (i.e. when I break exterior parts). That has helped me out a lot. When I call in, everyone knows me by name. It is nice to have that type of relationship with them. I trust Karmakanix. They have treated me with respect from the beginning and have never assumed I know nothing about cars. They are very communicative. I know they value my business, and they make that clear all the time.
