I purchased a trane heat pump from applachian heating sometime spring 2006. I had them to move it in 2008 to pour concrete. The person that moved it was very rude & charged excess amount of money.The cooling does not work now, I had them to check it and they told me it needed a expansion valve that costs at least 500 dollars plus labor & recharging it with freon. The manuf. date on the unit was 2-2006 and they told me that was the date when the 5- yr. warranty expired. and said they did not know the date of install. I have found the exp. valve for 250 dollars myself. my advice ""do not buy or get service from Applachian Heating & Cooing.
