Sushi Go 55 definitely merits the high marks and recognition it has received. I was there last night for dinner with my girlfriend.
We started our evening with some hot house sake and 2 pieces of blufin toro. Wow, simply amazing! They dont list the days market price of fish. When I got my bill the two pieces of toro cost $30. That is my only complain.
The meal itself was amazing. After the toro we ordered the Chirashi Jyu Sushi Box Matsu. Along with the sashimi, we also ordered a shrimp tempura roll. A huge roll at that!
The bill was right around $85 including tip. If not for the toro, I would value this restaurant as ""recommended"". But you do get what you pay for, excellent food. I'll definitely go back again. I'll just skip the toro next time.
