Review content:
I have a 13 year old husky-chow mix that has a LOT of issues. I have been trying to find someone that is kindhearted and sincere, gentle and trustworthy, and someone who would do quality work, and do it with love. I don't want much, do I?
I actually found all of the above qualities and then some in Theresa at D'Tails Dog Spa, who just happens to have a soft spot for the older pups.
My guy has sensitive skin with allergies all year, swims at the lake regularly and smells (smelled) like a swamp creature, he was recovering from an ear infection and lip fungus, he has had surgery for a torn ACL, he has hip dysplasia, and it hurts him to be combed too much, oh yeah, he doesn't particularly care to have his paws messed with either.
None of these things were a challenge to Theresa, and she even accomodated his special needs by keeping the grooming table low to the ground, which I happen to know is no picnic on the back!
By the time Theresa was done with him, he smelled as good as he looked and was prancing around so full of himself as he knew he was looking fine!
She had no problems bathing, massaging, trimming hair and nails and working on all his specific issues. Not only did she make this a comfortable experience for him, but she made it a fun experience he will look forward to again. I had a difficult time convincing him to get in the car because it was time to leave.
I would recommend D'Tails Dog Spa and Theresa to anyone/everyone! She has a natural gift for what she does and she loves it and her 'clients' as well.
