Businiess name:  Massage Envy

Review content:
I can't afford to get massages very often, soI received a $75 gift card from my husband for Massage Envy I was thrilled. He was told that this card would amount to a 90-minute massage.\r I arrived 10 minutes early as requested to fill out paperwork, etc., but by the time I used the bathroom and my therapist took be back to the room, it was almost 10 minutes after my appointment time. I didn't worry at the time since I figured a 90-minute massage meant I'd actually get a full 90 minutes. \r The massage itself was okay, but I was really confused when she finished after 70 minutes and told me we were done. When she met me out in the hall, I mentioned that I had booked a 90-minute massage but had only received 70, and she mumbled something about the clocks being wrong. Huh?\r I addressed the discrepancy to the front desk, and they told me that a 90-minute massage included just 80 minutes of ""hands-on"" time. When I pointed out that I had only received 70 minutes, they seemed to brush it off and made no attempt to make it right.\r To top it off, they pushed for a tip to be placed on my gift card and then gave me the hard sell to sign up for monthly visits. I gave an average tip and declined the membership and left feeling really disappointed. I won't be back.\r In the future, I'll spend the extra dough at a real spa and not have to endure the hard sell and the stingy therapists.
