WARNING: DO NOT DO BUSINESS w/ MIKES TOWING!!!!\r
Mike's Towing is the least reputable shop I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. The police called this place after I slid into a ditch to avoid a collision. They pulled my car out of the ditch and towed it less than one mile to their shop. The whole job took approxiamately 20-30 minutes. The bill for these services was $695 plus $45 a day storage...TOTAL RIP OFF. I spoke to the owner Mike about the charges and he claims this is a ""typical"" charge. I've asked many and NOBODY has ever been charged that much for a tow, especially not for such a short distance. Mike told me he has high insurance costs and this is what he charges insurance companies to tow cars involved in accidents. It sounded like this is how he FRAUDULENTLY ""gets even"". My insurance didn't cover the tow. I appealed to Mike to be reasonable and attempted to negotiate a reduction in the bill to no avail. Their policy is to refuse any/all access to your car until you pay your bill, no removal of personal belongings or even veiwing the damages allowed. Basically they hold your property hostage until you pay the huge ransom. I would avoid this place at all costs. \r
