Unhappy with service and attention to detail? - ? -
I took my 2000 Toyota Celica to have a couple of dents repaired on the driver side back quarter panel. When I got my estimate, I was told that he would fix the dents and re-paint the back quarter panel making sure to blend the paint. I was told that he would do this for $500.
When I went to pick up my car, I was not happy when I got it home. The pain looks uneven in color and it was not blended into my door or bumper making it very obvious that it was repainted. In addition, the finish work was poor. There are specks of dirt under the clear coat and you can see marks where the dents were fixed.
I took the car back up to show Phil, who said that he did me a favor by fixing one of the dents. Even though he pointed to this dent when he did the estimate. He also told me that my fuel door was going to fall off. Why wouldn't he have told me this when he was painting my car so that I could order the part and have it fixed?
Overall, I am not impressed and will never go back unless he wants to fix my car how it should have been fixed initially.
I would never take my car here unless you have your insuarance company involved so that they can make sure it is fixed properly.
