I had a very bad fire in my home. I wanted to deal directly with my insurance company because they promised me I would be very happy with their services. \r
Shortly after my fire I had spoken with many Public Adjusters. I did not think I needed one at the time. One of the Public Adjusters Joe Ortado told me to call him when I received the offer from my insurance company. He told me it was not a recommended procedure to wait as it would delay the process. He also told me he would have to charge me a higher fee than normal.\r
Well after I received the offer from my insurance company I was not satisfied. I then hired Joe Ortado and I was very impressed with the final settlement that I received.\r
I had no problem with the increased fee but I had wasted 2 months of valuable time.\r
If I had it to do over again I would hire Joe Ortado from day one even at the fee which was higher than others quoted.\r
