As a first time visitor, I was welcomed with open arms, and given a gift from the pastor and members. Lots of love going on in the room - I felt warm and cozy. Seating was comfortable and airy. Pastor made eye contact with everyone - I felt at home. Praise Team was anointed and sang well; members support each other; children have a dance team and they were wonderful in their expression of love to the Lord. Pastor gave thanks and gifts to the members who are leaders and encouraged every member to find something that they can do in the church to serve. I was pleased to know that the Pastor does not bite his tongue - he speaks the truth. He is a teacher and preacher - but I received the message with gladness. Guests are provided snacks and an opportunity to speak with the Pastor. I was one of three visitors and members gave us hugs of welcome. The message was memorable (Matt 25) and struck home with me. (The Parable of the Talents) I must admit, I learned a lot more Word about that passage of scripture and was pleased. Invitation went out to attend Bible Study. For those who care about 'time' , the service was over about 1:00 which is the average. But I was not conscious of the time because I was having so much fun and there was so much joy in the room. This church is growing and there were plenty of children, young adults, adults and seniors. I would attend again and would highly recommend Swift. It is also centered very near Historic Nashville and I believe in time, will be surrounded by restored buildings and a rich, inviting community will continue to grow/ Pros: Outstanding pastor and very friendly members Cons: Several layres of steps however, there is a ramp.
