Over the past 3 months, I had noticed my vision on my right eye became very hazy and I was having difficulty with focusing. Since I am a dentist, good vision in both eyes is very important in order to perform quality care to my own patients. I had since visited my optometrist and she had diagnosed my symtom as cataracts on my right eye and it just started forming on my left, but it had not yet affected my vision. She referred me to Dr. Colby Stewart for my eye care surgery. Actually, she had been trying to convince me to have lasik by Dr. Stewart about 4 years ago but I was just very scared about the whole procedure and my vision was fine with corrective eyeglasses and hard contact lenses so I never pursued it then. \r I had my pre-op appointment with Dr. Stewart three weeks ago, and just had cataract surgery on my right eyes this past Tuesday. The operation took about five minutes and I experienced no pain at all during the surgery or afterward that night. I have had more problems and discomfort with my contact lenses than I have had postoperatively after this surgery, and now can't wait to have my left eye done. My vision on my right eye is 20/20 on first day after surgery. As a contact wearer for nearly thirty-five years, I am extremely glad to be getting rid of my contact lense...at least on my right eye for now. \r My whole experience with Dr. Stewart has been awesome. I will not go into any more details since all the other reviews are very accurate about his great knowledge, quality of care, cutting edge technique and professionalism in eye care. As a healthcare professional myself, I highly recommend Dr Stewart.\r Thanks again, Dr. Stewart and your staff!
