Review content:
I don't usually write reviews, so this is actually saying a lot that I felt the problem I had with this periodontist office was so bad I had to write this. \r \r I saw Dr. Kazmer after a referral from my dentist to have elective work done. I specifically asked for a pre-authorization agreement for the procedure. A week later Dr. Kazmer's office told me what my expense would be and what my insurance was expected to cover. The procedure was completed and they filed the claim.\r \r The claim was denied and my insurance company said they NEVER RECEIVED a pre-authorization. I questioned this after there had been a pre-treat authorization and Dr. Kazmer's office kept disputing that they sent it and they don't know why the insurance compnay didn't get it. I asked them to pull up the copy of it and they said they don't keep copies of pre-authorizations!! I have since talked to numerous dr's offices and they all have said this is unheard of. \r \r Anyway, please just be very aware of any insurance processing and make sure you don't trust this office to do anything for you. Make sure you call and talke to your insurance company BEFORE any procedure, unless you want to pay full price out of pocket.\r \r Otherwise, Dr. Kazmer himself was very professional and friendly with his periodontal services. I will say that if he wants to keep customers (which I don't think he cares about b/c lets face it, he probably doesn't have much of a repeat business) he should have better business/ office practices.\r \r Pros: Nice dr., decent work, and free coffee/tea Cons: office practices, filing insurance, etc.
