I wish I had read the last two reviews before going with this company. I will NEVER choose another company without reading reviews on them first. The ""war vet"" mentioned in the previous review is one of the owners and he his probably in his 60's. He's aggressive and hostile when questioned about cheating people out of time/money. My mother was quoted $450 and I was assured by the other owner that would include using old boxes ""at a fraction of the cost of new boxes"". When the three man team arrived, including the ""war vet"", he took my mom with him to purchase boxes from Lowe's. Not only did he not bring old boxes as discussed but he didn't even bother to go to a liquor store or some place where anybody can get free boxes. All this was going on while I was getting the Uhaul or I would've stopped him in his tracks. I arrived with my husband with the Uhaul and upon entering my mom's bathroom, saw the toilet seat was up and noticed not just a little but A LOT of urine on the floor in front of it where someone had very clearly missed and just didn't think leaving a puddle of urine on my mom's floor was a big deal. We were moving my mom out of state so we ran some final errands as the men finished up. When we got back they were finished, or so they said, but they had packed several bags and boxes that we explicitely asked them not to touch because we needed them in our trunk for easy access and had not packed several other things, like a fake plant (which the ""war vet"" said he didn't want to put into the back of the Uhaul because it gets cold back there and he didn't want to harm the plant. the obvious *fake* plant). There was a record player and some other misceleaneous items left out, at least two boxes worth of stuff. At this point, the ""war vet"" had already taken $650 cash from my mentally and physically disabled mom. I asked for an itemized receipt since he quoted $450, which he denied. He finally gave me a receipt where he simply wrote $300 packing, $300 loading $50 boxes and supplies. They were there from 9am - 1:30pm and supposedly charge $83 per hour so the math clearly doesn't add up but at this point we were tired and had a 7 hour trip ahead of us. My mom asked him for a couple of boxes so we could at least pack up the rest of what he didn't pack up. He stormed into the apartment with a box making hostile comments about how he didn't appreciate the way we were treating him and how he had been good to us and should've charged us more. I lost my cool at that point and expressed my distaste with his lack of professionalism and his unfair and quite simply fraudulent pricing tactics. He proceeded to try to have a screaming match with me and when he realized I wasn't backing down he walked over to my husband and said ""Buddy you need to get your woman and put her in line"". He was promptly led out the door. He tried to come back into the apartment another time to ""tell me one more thing"" and was told to leave again. Upon his third entry into the apartment attempting to ""put me in my place"" I threatened to call the police and we locked the door as he left. There was absolutely NOTHING good about this experience and I can only hope that other people read these reviews and stay far, far away from this nightmare.
