My 2 year old granddaughter who lives with me got a size 4 coat for Christmas from her mother's family. The coat had a price tag attached that said from the The Children's Store, so I stopped by the Kingwood store to exchange it for the right size or for another item of the same value. When I handed it to the store clerk, she immediately said in a rude tone, ""if you don't have a receipt you will only get the current sales price of the item."" Then when she attempted to punch in the numbers on the price tag, they wouldn't register in the computer. She looked at me and said in her rude tone, ""this item is from 2008 and isn't in the computer so we can't exchange it."" She handed me back the jacket and walked away. I was treated as if I had a contagious disease. What a rude bunch of employees. I have encountered their coldness when shopping here before, but this tops them all. I have spend thousands of dollars at this Kingwood Children's Place store, but I can assure you they have seen their last dollar of my money. Everyone is always encouraging people to shop local. Well, as long as the Kingwood Children's Place store has rude and hateful employees, I will be taking my business outside of Kingwood when it comes to buying my granddaughter clothes.
