Don't trust a site that doesn't make people tell you who they are. I sent a nice letter to Bonfe's last week about how great their service was and they asked me to share my thoughts here. Across the board, this site seems to be a dumping ground for people do trash anyone with no consequence. Anyway, I just moved here from out East and I asked my previous service provider if they could help me with a company in Minneapolis. They recommended Bonfe's and I'm happy they did. Apparently both companies are members of the same national trade association and knew of each other. My former service company was great and they told me I wouldn't go wrong with Bonfe's. He was right. I am a proactive homeowner who wants my home kept in nice shape. I don't want handymen working on my plumbing and heating. If cost is your problem, that's fine, but don't complain about a good company with a good reputation because you're cheap. I have Bonfe's Gold Service plan. I pay $55 month and my repairs are covered for my trip fee. It also includes annual cleanings for my furnace, water heater, and air conditioner. The furnace guy replaced two parts on my furnace that were close to failing when he was out for my furnace cleaning and was very thorough in showing and explaining to me why they needed replacing. He put a camera in the furnace to show me it was safe and explained what he was looking for. He also did one other test to check efficiency and said it was good too. I've had a couple of other repairs and they went just fine. They also recommended replacing my water piping in my old victorian style home to improve the water pressure which I'll do in the future. All in all, things have been great with them. They're always polite and make things reasonably convenient for me and my wife. Working with Bonfe's and their service plan is real simple and effective.
