Review content:
My wife and I came home late New Year's Eve to find our house was freezing. My told me to call someone for help and went to bed. Meanwhile, I called four places that were of no help until the fifth one answered the phone and told me a manager would call back shortly. I figured they wouldn't call back being it was 2:00am so I kept on looking. As I started to dial the next number, a guy named Charlie calls me back and says he's with Bonfe's. Charlie went through a few small steps with me over the phone and in minutes, my furnace was running. The next thing out of his mouth was that if I had a service/maintenance plan with him we could have averted the problem. I really didn't want anything, but felt obligated to do something since he helped me out for free so I asked him to call me Friday to set something up. I never thought he'd call back, but he did. The next day (Saturday) Bonfe's sent Tom over to clean my furnace and set me up on their plan. About an hour before he got here, the furnace went out again doing the same thing. Tom explained to me that my flame sensor needed to be replaced and said it would be $225 to replace it. He also said that if i signed up for their full service plan, he'd cover it under the plan, charge me a $29 trip fee for the work and set me up on a monthly billing for $79/month. The onlt catch was that I would be obligated to at least a year on the plan. It sounded good enough to give a try so I went for it. Since then, I have had them over three more times. They fixed a toilet and my oven under the plan and replaced my water heater for me. Considering I've only made two payments on the plan and three trip fees of $29, I can only assume I'm miles ahead so far. But the best thing has been how responsive they've been. Thanks to Charlie for the free help on the phone, they've got a great customer for life. I'll be getting a new furnace and air conditioner this spring and I'll be sure to call them for that.
Pros: They really care about their customers.
Cons: Haven't found one yet.
