Businiess name:  Pi On Sunset

Review content:
As someone who only spends her social life in Middle Eastern places, I can honestly say Pi on Sunset is one of the best Arabic places in L.A. I enjoyed the atmosphere, food, hookah and service, and have become a repeat customer. It is one of those delightfully rare spots and combines a friendly, intimate atmosphere with exotic and delicious entrees. The servers are delightful and attentive, and the owners work nightly. I always feel very cared for. The food platters are overwhelming both in portion size and taste--and yet, moderately priced. My personal favorite is the chicken shawarma wrap (with extra garlic paste!), although whatever you get is sure to please. The ambiance is quiet and romantic in the downstairs dining room. There is a TV, but unlike many other restaurants it is kept at a low volume or is silent, and is never distracting. Conversation is actually possible at this wonderful restaurant, unlike many of its cousins in Westwood. :) The upstairs lounge provides both relaxing and party vibes, enveloped in popular Arabic dance music. It is the ideal place for a private party or group hang-out--there is plenty of seating and an open floor for dancing, also unlike many other hookah bars in L.A. The hookah is to die for--there is a variety of delicious, PREMIUM flavored tobaccos, and unlike many other hookah joints in L.A., Pi on Sunset actually keeps their hoses clean and flavors fresh. I suggest the watermelon. In spite of the smoke, Pi is a BREATH OF FRESH AIR! Five stars because it is incomparably fantastic. A small warning to those looking for a crazy night out: it is an ideal location in the middle of West Hollywood, but the crowd is usually sparse. Hence this review! I encourage everyone, from Middle Easterners to hookah enthusiasts to tourists to locals to investigate this hidden treasure on the Sunset Strip. You won't be sorry and you'll leave full--and fully satisfied! Bring a crowd of friends and the evening is sure to please. Pros: Ambience, Food, Service, Price Cons: Parking
