Review content:
We've been taking Finn, our 5yr old chocolate lab, to Barkey & Rover for a little over a year. I started out taking him in once a week for doggie daycare since my husband and I were gone at work and school all day and evening. Finn LOVES it there and he gets rid of so much energy! He is obsessed with toys and definitely gets his toy-time in there. We have since boarded him several times there too, and again, have had a good experience every time. Whenever I make reservations, they are quick to call me back and confirm, and they send an email confirmation too. I'm also always surprised that they remember Finn every time they see him (I'm sure they meet a lot of chocolate labs and he doesn't get to go very frequently anymore). We've had problems boarding Finn at other places, with him getting sick, or smelling really bad, but that's never been an issue with B&R, and it's good to know that he's getting some attention, getting to socialize and play, and getting to stretch his legs and work off some energy. He always comes home looking happy and relaxed. Oh, the more thing to add, is that their prices are not outrageous.... there are some other similar places in Roanoke that charge a lot more!
