My son started Kindergarten and at first we did not know how the school was but I did notice the lack of structure, kids running around in hallways, hectic drop off line in the morning can take up to 25 min. Then I started to see the lack of professionalism from the principal, and administrator, specifically Mrs Benson, she just had that very tacky attitude that shouldn't be around a school, being an example, my son was born overseas and I had difficulty getting his birth certificate and one morning she stood by the door and pushed my son outside saying that he couldn't comeback to school. I couldn't believe what I was seeing....the teacher in K is just an observer, she doesn't prevent if warn, if a child does something wrong all she does is write down and call administration, a few times I sat behind the glass door to see why they were saying that my son was misbehaving, and saw that several kids were walking around the class rolling around on the floor and nothing was done to prevent that or even implement some type of structure and my son was just doing the same.
Several times my son had heard the principal saying that he couldnt comeback to school, he felt so unwanted. This is our worst experience ever. Also suspension is the only option with them, they Do not try to work with the child, they just get rid if him.
