My husband and I went for our anniversary, and just fell in love (with the restaurant, we fell in love with one another a while back). Although I have heard of Log Haven for years, this was the first time I went. It is lovely in winter, with sparkling icicles, beautiful snow drifts, and a sense of being in a secluded, cozy cabin away from the elements. The service was good, the food was excellent, and we had a perfect seat near the fireplace. We are slightly ""foodie"" in our tastes, and the lobster and steak was all we hoped for - tender steak and delectable lobster. We tried the calamari and were impressed, and the creme brulee was also good. Altogether, the perfect venue for a romantic meal in the mountains. I look forward to returning and trying some of the more adventurous meals on offer.
