tractor trailer broke down on I-95 in New London ct. 47 miles from new haven. truck was towed to new haven and stored over night. when the service man showed up the next day to change the alternator Lombard charged an additional 250.00 to move the truck from there secure yard to the street , approximately 400 feet. the tow bill was a whopping $1,108.00. Just another high way robbery job. would never use them , the woman in the office was rude. it also took them better than 4 hrs to respond. seems they are some how connected to the CT state troopers (who called them) someone is getting a kick back. to tow a truck 47 miles for $1,108.00 is robbery. they (tow companies) should be regulated by the federal government. I would not recommend these people, the owner is Anthony Monaco and would not even come to the phone. NICE WAY TO DO BUSINESS !!!!
