Review content:
Houston was in desperate need of a cupcake boutique, and The Cookie Jar delivers big time. There is a great selection of flavors each time I've visited, and some of the flavors are really creative. I really like the strawberry shortcake, which is cut in half with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, and pleases both the eye and the stomach. I find myself here a few times a week, and am always excited to try a new flavor. The shop is really cute, and feels like you've landed in New York. It's very urban, tucked in between two boutiques on Westheimer, with a lot of concrete. The decor is cool and modern, and is a great hang-out for the afternoon. I've visited their website a few times to check for hours, and they have lots of great photos of their stuff -- check it out and you'll make a beeline for this bakery. Definitely worth the trip!
