Review content:
I've been to Todai several times for lunch (~$15) and dinner (~$25), and although I agree the sushi and sashimi is not of the highest quality, it is good for a buffet. I went in early May 2004, and they did have the free birthday meal. (They discontinued this special for some time, so I would call and check before going for someone's birthday.) The snow crab at dinner is my favorite thing - although it was a little salty. They've started to limit the lobster tails to one per person, so no more stingy lobster guy. The udon is delicious, as is some hot food. My eyes have a bigger appetite than my stomach when I come to Todai!
