Businiess name:  Service Master Co

Review content:
I had Service Master clean 2 rooms. They charged $170. I have had these rooms cleaned by other carpet cleaning companies for $120. When I called the owner to inquire why it was so expensive, he said that they charge by the square footage of the room. We have a large family room, however, half of the room is covered with rubber matting and toys (a play area for the kids). Service Master did not move any furniture or clean this area, yet I was charged for the area. No other company has done that. I asked the owner why their company was so much more expensive- did they have superior machines or cleaning solutions?? Nope. His answer was that he has to pay a franchise fee, therefore he has to charge more money just to make the same amount as the local guy. He said, ""I'm just trying to make a living"". He was polite and honest, yet I refuse to pay significantly more mooney just so he can ""make a living"". I do not recommend this overpriced company to anyone. And get an estimate first!
